Trip Report: Aer Lingus Airbus A320 Liverpool John Lennon Airport to Dublin

Flying on a cold January morning to Dublin on Aer Lingus from Liverpool John Lennon Airport.

  • Arrival Airport:  Dublin International
  • Aircraft: Airbus A320

No need to check-in as we only had carry-on bags, so it was straight through security and off to the Aspire Lounge located on the lower level air side for breakfast.

Boarding

Boarding Aer Lingus Flight A320 at Liverpool John Lennon Airport

The boarding procedure was quick as there were only approximately 25 people on the flight.

We boarded at the rear of the plane as our seats were on the back row.

The Seat(s) & Cabin

Seat 29F
Seat 29F

As with most Airbus A320’s the seating configuration was 3-3, with 29 rows of economy seats.

We had pre-booked seats 29D & 29F, however in hindsight, it was a waste of £10.00 as the flight was empty.

Food and Drink Service

Food and drink service was available on the flight, but as it was only a short journey, there was no need to purchase anything as we had eaten and had a drink at the airport.

Additional Comments

Our flight was delayed by approximately 35 minutes due to a technical issue. However, the pilots and staff keep us informed about the reasons for the delay.

Verdict

Apart from the delay leaving Liverpool the flight met with our expectation’s and we would probably flight fly Aer Lingus to Dublin again in the future.
